DHD DLD question?

are the input gears the same, got a DLD, going to DHD that was behind auto can i use the DLD input gear in the DHD, i did swap in two DLD's but not DHD.

no there is a diffrence between the two. the dld has a taller shoulder around the snap ring groove

can it be turned down or would it be better to get another input for DHD
