Dhd to dld help

Ok I blew my dld up it's trashed and I can't find one so I found a Dhd but what I am wandering is if someone knows how much I will have to shorten drive shaft? I have a 98.5 quad cab short bed with a 70 in the rear thanks I am trying have everything ready to swap it in this weekend and won't have tc till.Fri

I think I shortened mine about an inch or so. I think some have done the swap without doing anything. Someone else will chime in.
 
Spline count is different. You will need a 32 spline IIRC yoke. As for the shortening I don't know I've seen 2 different styles of yokes and one was longer than the other.
 
I supposed to get the drive shaft from it and the yoke with tc hopefully a long bed regular cab driveshaft same as my extended cab short bed
 
I just got the dhd yoke. and didn't need to mess with the drive shaft length. on a qcsb
