NSW Foundation named official charity of DHRA
DHRA has supported various charities in the past through ride a long raffles and other methods. But no charity has been as close to DHRA as the Naval Special Warfare Foundation. Co-Founder Eric McBride met with Jack Lynch, President of the UDT-SEAL Association to recently and discussed DHRA’s interest in raising money for them.
The NSW Foundation’s mission is to provide educational and motivational support, promote health and welfare programs for the Naval Special Warfare Community, and perpetuates the history and heritage of U.S. Naval Commandos. They support the family members of our fallen warriors, whether that is scholarships for the children, or the financial planning to the widows of NSW personnel whose husbands were killed in combat.
“Being a Navy veteran, I wanted to find a military-related charity and I’m extremely proud that we came across this opportunity.” Eric told DHRAonline.com, “Diesel enthusiasts are patriotic and proud, there is no doubt we all will pull together to help this effort.”
NSW Foundation will be attending the FASS Diesel Nationals to be held at O’Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis May 31st and June 1st. Be sure to drop by and meet true warriors and give your support.
