Not the most computer savy guy around. I can get it done.
Im here after a friend recomended this site for good info .
I have a 24 v cummins 5 spd 4x4 2001 ram with the 260hp vp44 motor home pump / 275 extrude hone injectors / tst comp box./ south bend DD 3850 clutch/ 3 piece manifold and a silver bullet 64/14 turbo/ 4 inch pipe with a muffler/ cust cam / hp valve springs.
I really like truck pulling this truck . I has worked good for me I have always finished in the top 3 of all but a few pulls I have entered.
I need some info to make a go at 4000 rpm / with out the p pump and using the stock head gasket and bolts/ Yes I know "bad news" I have not had any issues yet set the waste gate to 45lbs this works for me . I may still go ahead and do it up all the way later When I have the extra $$. as for now I will use the VP 44 until it dies.
any one from southern Wis / or Northern ILL give me a shout.
I have a spot with a hoist and alot of cummins special tools . If I can help you out .
I love to wrench . and fabricate
