diesel ?

Anyone have a good idea of a diesel that could be swapped into a isuzu pick up? i have a 4bt commonrail but think it is too big. Need something smaller with tranny. Would like a 4d55 mitsubishi but have not found one.What else will fit? Is there a way to turn vw motor around for rear wheel drive?

Well you have the 4cyl TDI from 98 and newer VWs.

Then there is the IDI 1.6L (NA and Turbo'd models) and 1.9L IDI (turbo'd) from late 70s to mid 90s...
