I am looking to see some pics of either isspro or dipricol gauges on 2nd gen or 3rd gens. I am trying to decide on what gauges to get :bang, or if you know of a link or links that have pics lets me know.

gauges

isspro.com has pictures of the gauges themselves but i think i might be able to dig up some pics installed.

Here's my dipricrols I had in my old truck... have the same ones in the new truck too.

Not the greatest pic but...

I think the Pricols are a better match as far as stock looks go, but I am currently running the ISSPRO Performax series.
Sorry I don't have any pics currently though.

My vote goes for the Dipricols. I just swithced out my Autometers for a set of black face Dipricols.

That site has good up close pics of Dipricols and Isspros. When you look at the Dipricol gauges on that site, if you hold your mouse over the pic of the gauge it will show the backlighting (on the pics of the black face Dipricols only).

I've used DiP's on all of my 3rd gen trucks. I was very tempted to run the Performax setup on my current truck, but I'm trying to keep the gauges to a minimum, so I went with the DiP's again. If you want to run a lot of gauges, the Performax is the way to go IMO!!!!

Im currently making the switch to the Performax line. Have 3 EV Series now. My EGT doesnt work and the light for the boost keeps going out cause the holder on the back sucks. Easy install and expandability for the Performax, plus LED lighting and you can do a max recall on them and download info from gauges to computer in an Excel spreadsheet.

Never ran DiPricols, but they appear to be pretty good too...

I Have Had Isspros And The Boost Gauge Rattled Like Something Was Loose Inside And I Now Have Dipricols And The Are The Best I Have Used So Far

I have both in my truck, they are pretty equal and both work great. I like the look of the DiPricols just a hair more, but its pretty close. Take a look at my gallery

Sorry for the bad picture

Only pic I got but these where the wrong gauges that got shipped to me. My current gauges have orange needles.

Are you looking for the black face or white face models?

I can tell you that the white faced models on the new EV² line are a dead-on match, we redesigned the pointer to match the OEM pointer. If you want Performax in that style, you can special order it that way as well.

I can tell you that the black faced gauges for both ISSPRO and DiPricol are better matched color-wise to the Fords (and IIRC the Dodge backlighting is more of a bluish green). It's close, but not perfect.

One nice thing about most ISSPRO gauges (and all of the EV² and Performax line) is that they are made right here in Portland, Oregon USA!

I am looking for black face, do you have any pic of the black face with the replacement led blub. thanks for the input.

Nothing with the LED bulb in place, but I will chase down the parts and take a photo later today or tomorrow.

Here are some quick photos I just took of a black faced gauge with a blue LED bulb and a green LED bulb:

EV² vs. Peformax™
The Performax and EV² series share many attributes: Stepper motor movements, LED backlighting, and solid-state sensors. The EV² individual gauges cost more than the Performax counterparts, since the gauge must contain the processing power, while the Performax processing power is mostly in the ESP controller. The Performax series uses an underhood controller (the ESP) which connects to all the sensors (so you don't have to run all those sensor wires through your firewall). There are 3 common wires which run to all of your gauges (up to 17 total), simplifying your wiring and allowing you to move gauges around to any location. The Performax system also includes the Total Recall™ feature, which provides the ability to view the extreme values of all functions connected to the Performax system. For most functions, the stored value is the maximum value, but on fuel system pressures (Fuel, HPOP, and Rail Pressure), the lowest value while under load is recorded (requires the use of Performax boost gauge sensor). This allows you to focus on driving down the dragstrip or pulling track, keeping it in the groove instead of trying to see if your fuel pressure is dipping at the end.

The ISSPRO Performax PC Datalogger is an optional interface module and software package which allows your Windows-based PC to record all of the data being read from the sensors connected to the Performax ESP controller.

The module connects to the gauge wiring in place of one gauge (or you can wire in an additional gauge connector in a convenient spot for the module), then connects via the included cord to the USB port of your PC.

The software displays actual values for all sensors connected to the ESP while it is logging (there is a start/stop button on the screen). When logging, the software writes to a comma-separated-value (CSV) file to be opened up in Microsoft Excel (or a similar program). The data is logged for each channel at 5 samples per second. You can use your spreadsheet (e.g., MS Excel) features to analyze and graph the results.

The data is logged for all sensors connected to the Performax ESP, regardless of whether a corresponding gauge is installed. You can have all 17 channels connected to sensors for datalogging, even if you only have room for 3 gauges in your truck.

If you are not interested in the Total Recall or PC Datalogger features, then EV² is the likely choice when installing 3 or fewer gauges. For more gauges, the Performax system is more cost effective, especially when installation time is taken into account.

I like the DiPricols because of the LED lighting and small gauge wiring kits. Diesel Manor is where I have purchased all of my gauges. As far as performance, I would say they are all about the same. Here is a pic of mine. http://www.putfile.com/pic/7031118#

Thanks. Kinda what I figured, but wasnt sure. Looks like Ill stick with Performax...
