DIY port matching to the head?

Should I port match my exhaust ports on my head to the exhaust gaskets while it's off, or should I leave it alone?
 
you have to machine the man off the head in order to get a real port job on the 5.9 head and opening the exhaust side should help for spool up but im not a expert on the functions or flow rates of the 5.9 head i have ported more then enough heads in my day but all gasser heads
 
My manifold is port matched to the gaskets. I figure if I can get a little more spool up and less DP it can't hurt. Every little bit counts.
 
I think he's talking about just the exhaust side. Yes i would. i had my head ported and while it was apart i did the manifold and turbo inlets as well.
