I know a few people here run the front dually spacers.

Where do I buy them, I see them Arrowcraft's site, but is there anywhere else to get them?

Thanks in advance!

that's were i have got 4 or 5 sets and they work great. they look just like stock ones.

what are you trying to do run a full size front tire or just a replacement front spacer?

Garret run a regular rim and call it good, no need for dually front spacer!!

Much confusion on this thread!!

What Garrett wants is the OEM Dually front wheel spacers that come on duallies to make up for the reverse-offset front dually rim.

When he installs the spacers up front it will push his regular style wheels out another 6 or 8 inches to give his rear tires 2 fresh paths to pull in when he pulls.

Garrett,
Any scrap yard that has wrecked dodge duallies should have them. On the 2nd gen some relief machining will be required on the inside of the spacer.

I think Garrett is running a dually wheel up front. I think also he is running dually wheels in the back. Spacing the wheels out is a trick used by the Gasser guys for years. Just make sure your front steering stuff is in good shape. Lots more stress on the front components. NADM and DHRA I believe have rules specigically prohibiting the setting out of the tires like the JW3 has done.

i wish our local junk yards had a clue if they had any dodge duallies in...the couple yards around me are pretty big so I could spend all day in there trying to find a dually

Garret- I have two sets up here but seeing shipping/customs is a total pain and expensive it would be easier to find them by you unless you can wait until I come down to Indy in a month and a half!

Is it really that hard to ship from canada?

I read through again, and maybe I still missed it, but to gain width why not just turn a dully rim around on the front? It would look funny but youd have your width for free and the rim would be hubcentric, not on a spacer which can break when pulling such loads.

check that. I realize now the normal hubs aren't hubcentric. My bad.

Even if your org or brush pull doesn't prohibit it, its also reeeaaallly fun to center on a scale. Esp. old-timey ones like this:
EDIT: Don't know why image wouldn't load, found another that illustrates drop offs found at some stationary fairground scales. Not perfect but ya get the idea.

Watch that step to the right, its a doozie. :hehe:

Its not overly that hard but takes some info that can just be a plain pain in the a$$...such as County of Origin for all parts shipped.

Anyway, here are a few pics of my old dually steel rims turned backwards ontop of the dually addapter. I don't have pics of the setup when I had the fenders on but to give you an idea...the inner part of the tire cleared the fender by over 1 inch...that means the outside of the tire was sticking out almost 9"!!! I would say to run this you would be going thru wheel bearings about every 300 feet or so...especially if you get into the hop!

hey Ryan
How much for one set of those spacers - I been thinkin on switchin out to a dually setup and my sterling already has the huge/long studs for that - only question would be inner sppring clearance

Ford dually??? the dodge units won't work. Check out the local wreckers for a ford setup. I know some down my way probably would have them..
