This is just to drop some pics in reply to a few questions I have recieved on tire size and fitment and lift kits on a second gen Dodge Ram. All pics are of the same truck with the same 5.5" suspension lift. Some are 37" toyo's on 18" KMC hoss's. Some are 38.5" boggers on 16" Mickey Thompsons, some are 35" BFG muds on 16.5 Welds. Hope this helps.

The truck is a 94, that was a factory color scheme. In the spring when the weather breaks it is getting new paint. Don't tell anyone but the color is an 04 ford, it's a darker more metallic charcoal. I don't like any lifts for the second gens (without getting into the extreme kits like Kelderman, fabtech, etc.) So I build my own lifts for these trucks. I have put 3 or 4 of these lifts together and everybody loves the ride quality and workability. The entire lift in pieces is about 1,200. I use Top Gun Customz oversize coils in the front. They are an entire new monster coil, No spacers. Topgun adjustable control arms upper and lower, Rough country trackbar relocation bracket and swaybar brackets. In the rear I run BDS 4.5 re-arch leafs and a 5" total block with 9/16 u-bolts (custom from local big truck shop). For the pitman arm I run a Skyjacker extreme arm. It is the only arm that measures a true 5" to 6" drop. (200.00 bucks but consider it needed). If you have the extra money I very highly recommend the 98 and 99 T style steering arms (about 500) to replace the Y set up, A PSC steering box brace (www.pscmotorsports.com/sb100) it's the cheapest at 169.oo. I also made a rear track bar since I tow a lot, made a world of difference loaded. Now the truck drives better than the stock truck did and still rides as good.
