Down loading Stock Program ?

Here is the situation. I have a truck that is an 2005 that was just purchased used. I took it for a test drive and I am pretty sure that it has some type of program in it now. If I hook up a smarty to it will it pull whatever he is running so I can compare it using UDC to a stock file I already have? Will it show the differences?

No, Smarty does not copy data from the ECM, it only uploads data to the ECM it has the the stock program in memory on the smarty.
