Neighbors .... does anyone know enough about the dpf, so that they can come up with a rodders version of a dpf simulator??? There are some examples out there of stuff available for the Dodge. Of course, some of the shops have a kit available for $500 that includes $2.00 worth of electrical components, wire, and no instruction sheet. What about the Ford men??? Has anyone come up with DPF simulators that we can make for ourselves.

Why do this?? The answer is that it allows me to spread the cost of DPF delete over time. I can buy the pipe, add the simulator, then buy the electronics to upgrade the tunes later.

thanks .... ron :)

The whole DPF system can be disabled via tuning. The ECM is open enough for guys to do whatever they wish. The 500 dollars worth of parts your talking about, was the first attempt for the Dodge boys to fool there DPF systems, as it took a while for tuning to catch up. Most people buy a tuner and then a DPF delete pipe and never look back. No need to"simulate" the DPF as its no longer part of the equation, since its shutdown in the ECM.
