This event was awesome last year until it started snowing.

it better not snow this year, it's been to long since i've been on the track, can't wait to test the new setup
 
This was posted on another site....

So I spoke with The Glenmore Inn today 800 661 3163 and they are at 70% capacity. There is also Service Plus Inns 403 256 5352 they are at 85% capacity. These 2 are close to both DPS and Race City.

Remember this is opening weekend for the Calgary Stampede so book your rooms soon or there wont be any left.

Service Plus is supposed to have lotsa room for trailers...
 
Just a quick note that came to my attention after the Mission race. There were a few guys there running in the Super Street class with coolant still in their trucks. I know Torrey was running a completly stock truck in that class to gain points so he will be the exception.

Guys and Girls if you are running the Super Street class make sure that you are NOT running and coolant. You need to be running WATER ONLY this is in the rules and we will make sure that tech or someone will be checking the trucks. So if you were one of the ones running coolant in Mission please make sure you are running water only for the rest of the season.

If you are caught running coolant in SS then we will make you drop the coolant and replace it with water. So if you do not want any delays please make sure that you have replaces your coolant with water.

Water Wetter is permitted.

Sounds like superstreet is goin to be full of trucks at this event, so far heard of 4 prostreet trucks, can't wait.
Superstreet should have at least 6-7 trucks running 10's
 
Wonder if super street record will taken to the next level.

Torrey has his license for the 9s so gotta feeling if the track can hold the power we will be seeing a new record.

I hope you all have a great time! Non of our Fords will be making it that I know of. Roger's truck is waiting on parts last I heard, but maybe he'll be there. Rob's truck and my truck are running fine but we have no tires yet. We are waiting on our slicks and parts to back date the brakes. I might take the drive down but I won't be racing or dynoing.
 
Does anyone know if they allow camping at the track?

Bummer, I've been sick this whole week, or I would have hauled my gasser up for the big $ bracket race in Medicine Hat this weekend, and thrown my Jetta in the back for driving home in between.

Oops...my mistake.
I didn't even know there were two tracks in Calgary...:bang
 
There is only one track one event is at Kevins shop "dyno day" the other is at Race City.

X2 camping at the track?
