I need few minutes of someones time to go through the voltage readings on the drag comp harness. I am just looking to compare numbers. This is what I recorded today:

Plug to the Comp Box (left to right)
Top row - 0.00, 0.52, 2.46, 2.51
Bottom row - 12.15, 5, 0.01, 12.13

Map Sensor Plug (with boost fooler connected)
5.00, 0.02, 0.00

Pump Wire
12.20

Data Link
2.50, 2.50

Thanks,

Kyle

try calling edge, they should be able to help you out since no one has chimed in. Ive always had great luck with their tech support.

I called Edge and talked to their tech. They told me they did not know that information, as it is something only the engineers deal with.

Why do you have a boost fooler when the Comp does the fooling?

I don't have a boost fooler other than what is supplied by Edge. I just figured the boost fooler was built into the plug that connects the oem plug to the MAP sensor. I guess it might be built into the box itself, but it does not matter either way.

Anyone out there own both a drag comp and a multimeter? If so, please see the original post. It will only take you 10 minutes. I promise.

I figured out a way to turn 4k rpms with a drag comp by altering the harness.

On a serious note, I am curious if there is a short/bad connection in the wiring/harness for the drag comp. I am trying to track down an issue I am having related to fueling and power - aside from the fact that there is a VP44 under the hood.

I don't think a multimeter will give you what you want.
Your pump wire seems good, and the data link is probably what you will see, you will see a serial stream from 0-5V the 2.5 is just an average of the 0 and 5V turning on and off. Unless you have an issue with the map sensor.

I agree with the pump wire and data link.

I took off the wire tap the other day to run it like an EZ, and the truck would hesitate/stutter over ~35psi. It would barely make over 40psi at WOT, and it ran terrible.

In the past, I could hit 60 psi in EZ mode, and it was smooth as glass.
