Dragon Fire Extreme VP-44

Ok so I havent heard alot of talk about Industrial's new pump. Its the new Dragon Fire Extreme VP44, they state that it flows twice as much fuel as there hotrod pump, has a smooth idle, and cost $2500. So does anyone have this pump? I remember there was a thread a while back about people stating rumors about this pump but i have yet for anyone to ask if anyone has tried it. So anybody?:poke:
 
does this mean that with a 140% more fueling that the pump alone will put you at 500hp w/o a box?
 
I might be blind, but I have yet to see it for sale anywhere? Its not listed on II's site, so where is it? Like I said I might be blind...

What is the comment referring to that "high pressure lines are not necessary"?
 
Means you can get away with using stock lines instead of like 0.093 or .0120 lines.

So who is gonna be the guinea pig?
 
Not me , now if if they let me test drive one then give it back I'll do that .
 
gimme $2500 and I'll be the pig... I'll do back to back dyno runs the day it gets here : ) I have a setup that would prove whether or not you can bolt on and make power. But I'm in the same boat as a lot of others, I just don't have $2500 to try one.

I called II the other day and they said as of right now the pump has a one year warrenty! I could see them backing out of that statment quickly once these pumps start to lock up. :owned:

Probably right, and I would assume that's without tapping the pump wire. Definitely would be hard determine how the pump will perform if you are concerned about the warranty.
 
i think there is a few of us looking for more info in this.....i would drop for one in a second if it will make some big HP....800+

Wouldnt this be the same as having an SO pump with a fueling Box? Or will these Pumps actually flow more fuel then you can get out of a SO VP44 with the wire tapped?

From my reading of it, it says it will flow 140% more. So id say that the pump will by itself, no boxes.

Right, but does that also mean that when I do tap the pump with my fueling Box I will still get that added HP on top of it?
