PI$$ poor driving caused me to bogg it down real hard coming off the line, i was not prepared for it to jump from 2700 striaght to 4K! Anyone running a redline knows what im talking about. And i fell of the charger HARD!!!
 
Nice hook, sounded like it picked up RPM down the track pretty well. Where did you place?
 
my redline acts just like anyother box, nice and smooth. It doesnt even stumble as i bring it up (out on the highway). I sent it back to chip for an update and dont know if he did something or not but its smooth.

If i free rev it it only stumbles a little but it doesnt shoot to 4k. I can control the rpms.

Mine would jump up!!!.. It would go from 2200 to 4K without me advancing the pedal down...
 
Yeah its kinda like the redline takes control of everything.

Placed 6 pulled 324 alot of competition there but i think if i would of came off the line right i could of had a few more feet, i didnt slip it at all i just dumped the clutch and i think it cost me! But oh well it was my 2nd hook this season and only my 6th pulling this truck, ill get the hand of it eventually

Yeah i was shocked that it fell down to 2400-2600 coming off the line and was still able to get back up to 3800 and on top of my charger! I thought that was pretty impressive, exspecialy with the charger i am running
 
Last year it was horrible there where alot of things wrong with it. This year we almost got it all lined out but it proably wont be until next before we have everything lined out! 13:1 compreesion is proably what is killin me right now, but if i take the head off, i want to mill the intake off and port and polish the intake side and make a custom intake and fire ring it, just dont have the time right now.
 
I hear ya. Mine is probably lower on compression than it should be, but being a cr it hides it. Mine had a few computer defueling issues last year plus a weak clutch. I've ran 3 different turbo's since Mexico, still not what I want, but will have to wait till next year. Your definatly holding the flag for the VP guys
