Drilling out connecting tubes

has anyone done this? Is it better to drill them out or to go buy a new set?

I have done several set at various sizes.

Drill the edge filter out first with a bigger drill bit, then drill the tube

Had a buddy here at work drill mine to .125. No issues. Now has a lope to it.

dont waste your time going bigger than stock, you wont gain anything w/ a SO/HO VP. you might gain some by taking the edge filters out

I guess that the filters are supposed to keep debris from the injectors if the pump asplodes?

Makes sense, probably better to leave em them.
