Drive Shaft Question.

What does the factory drive shafts CV/double u-joint yokes accomplish?I could see where in a lifted setup it micht be needed but not a hotrod that is lowered.Has anyone gone to just a single u-joint yoke on a 4x4 F250??I have a front drive shaft vibration under power before & after having new heavy wall drive shafts made new u-joints & all.I was wondering if I could just go to a normal drive shaft yoke/u-joint setup.op:

Wouldn't there be a chance that the new driveshaft is incorrectly balanced?

It did it before the new shaft.It is not realy speed sensetive more load sensetive, although the faster you go the worse it is if you level off it almost quits untill you crack back on it.
