Converter is in good shape. Just going to a higher stall since i have the engine out and will be going to a larger turbo.
$725+shipping
Thanks, Keith

If I power break my truck at about 1800 it starts turning the tires over and I run a DTT 91 and I run a Silver Bullet for a turbo!

Is this only for a 47re, or would it work in my RH? About how many miles on it?

Jim, not to get off the subject or anything, but is your 91% converter the old single disk style? I am asking cause i know your making quite a bit more power than what the tipical single disks are rated for..

Yea I guess I'm behind times but the last time I pulled the tranny to fix the aft freeze plug it looked fine, meaning the paint looked fine so it wasn't slipping, I event took pics of it and sent them to Bill K. and James my builder. Bill wanted the converter to open up and look at and even offered me a new one as a swap but I didn't want to wait nor did I feel like I needed to swap it.

When that converter was put it I broke 700 hp right after that and I'm lower now than ever, I run 100 psi base pressure and 155 at WOT!

It is blue. Have not even pulled it out of tranny yet. Have to look 2marrow engine is out just haven't looked at the tq.
What is the differences in blue and black?
Bought a rebuilt DTT for a buddy off Olee Poole and it was black.
Thanks, Keith

Blues are the older ones, black are newer. DTT switched converter suppliers a while ago from my understanding. According to my sources the blue's are supposedly better. I run a 89% blue and other DTT parts and it works like a champ. I know a guy who runs a 89% blue and has videos of lifting the front tires at truck pulls.

My friend had a DTT back in like 03-04 and it was blue converter and his trans rocked, built by John Dimartino, but the one mine was first built with was black, and wouldn't lock up unless the throttle was let off and it was suppose to be equivelant to a 89% but was way looser. And the second one they put in that would lock up correctly ended up frying after I put the :nos:to it.

From the Blue's, there's 2 different ones. An 89H and an 89R. The difference in color is mainly a switch in the builders of the TC. Once you get it out, can you still post the numbers on the TC. This way, we can determine the TC's history.

I'd like to know just for common knowledge what the 89H vs 89R means. Either way the blue's are the ones to get, mines holding good, I recommend someone pick this up.
