DTT valve body shifting

So last night i put a DTT valve body in my truck (bone stock tranny, just the VB for now) and at first it would hang the 1-2 shift real bad so i adjusted the TV cable and now its down to about 2200 for the shifts which is still too high, but after it shifts into second it immediately shifts into 3rd, almost like its skipping second even tho you feel it drop into 2nd. also when i come to anything under 20 mph it drops back into 1st, ive heard sometimes you need a resistor or something but anybody else have an idea?

The resistor is to drop voltage so you don't have 3rd gear starts..

You need someone to help adjust your TV have them hold the pedal at WOT (engine off) you under trans check TV play should be 1/16..

What are your WOT shifts at?
