Ok here goes, I have been hauling a lot of heavy loads to phx which lately has been around 108 degrees lately and I want to do some sort of cooling upgrade. Does anyone have any real, legitimate reason why I shouldn't run dual electric fans on my truck? Truck is an 05' dually and is never under 23,000 gvw....my coolant temps are getting up in the 227-238 range up a 6% grade coming back empty and I'm just not comfortable with that....any personal experience and/or recommendations are really appreciated. :Cheer:

I suspect you might be not pushing enough air with the 475, unless your running say 2500 or so.

Have you cleaned the radiator? Also more HP equals more heat, the factory system is sized for stock HP.

Dan is right on.

Maybe you should stick a 62 on top of that 475.
