A friend and I are both going to run dual feed injectors. What is everyones opinion? 5 hole at .020 or 10 hole at .016? Sure they are both plenty good. Just curious what everyone thinks

Both running 13mm pumps. He has a GT-42 charger and mine i havent decided. Both run cut pistons and bigger cams?

You mean dual feed as in 2 lines to each injector or?

I run .120 lines with a similar setup and don't see a need for dual feed at this level.

I assume he ment dual feed thru the nozzle body, As to if they are needed, It just depends on the cc's of fuel you are wanting to run. But with 5 x 20's I'd say no.

I know 6 trucks from Michigan that are all runnin 5x22's that are dual feed injectors. one with a gt42 and most of the rest are runnin lighting chargers.

Honestly I have never heard of a dual feed injector...can someone explain the differences from a standard injector. Im not going to come out and say the size of mine on my 12valve but they are quite a bit larger than 5x22's! and honestly I don't see a need for more fuel.

More for personal knowleged then anything.

Is there really any point in running an injector of that size with stock lines? Or: at what point in injector size should i get larger lines?

on a duel feed injector there are 2 feed holes in the body and nozzle so more fuel is at the tip for injectition when the injector fires. stock the hole is around .070. some are open to .093 and some have 2 holes at .070. i run a set of duel feed 5x .020 or 5x .022 for drag racing or sled pulling but on the street they are just to big. they smoke way to much.

They will be for pulling only. I have a Scheid Lightning Turbo and .120 lines. He has GT42 and .093 lines. Just a little hint, hes got an entire harts diesel set up. Seen a truck of theres and man its awesome. Just liked to stretch the rules. Pump is very impressive!

5x.020 will work. i ran them on the street for a month or so. they are bad smokey. i had 5x.020 in the pic to the left. and that's 80+ psi of boost. they would never clean up.

Dual feed

I have a set waiting to be put in from bigdodge. 5x.020 dual feeds. Ill let everyone know how well they run as soon as i get my cam from Schieds! Long story short i received the wrong cam by mistake and only cut my pistons .080 were as this cam requires .120 fly cuts. I thought about keeping the longer duration cam but already have the short block together and dont want to pull the pistons and cut em again!

hows about some pictures of the setup for us neophytes that arent to this step of fueling yet!! as long as its not too much of a secret!

Im running 6x16s now. May give them a try for a bit. And then try out some dual feeds. Guess there is such a thing as to much fuel if your looking for the best performance.

what injector body are they using?

Actually I wouldnt even bother with a dual feed injector for what your going after a good single feed injector will do fine.

89-91.5 trucks had 4 x .012 injectors with 9mm bodies; 91.5-93 trucks had 6 x .009 with the modern 7mm bodies.
