What is everyones thoughts on dual feed injectors?
I have heard that it is well worth it and I have heard that it is a waste of time.
This would be for a big rpm puller.
Lets discuss.

To state the obvious, at "big rpm" there is less time to get the fuel down to the cylinder, so I would think dual feed would be worth it. $.02

A better nozzle will make more power than an extra passage in the body.

Dual feed is needed with a big nozzle you need to do the math if your nozzle holes add up more surface area than your feed hole then dual feed would benefit you but can also enlarge the existing hole also.

If you use a larg sac volume nozzle on a stock body, it will produce greater power than a VCO nozzle with dual feed passages.

I still wouldn't waste the time or effort, at that level go to an S type nozzle with a larger holder.

So that is another vote against a VCO nozzle in a competition application. Do they have any pro's other than being cleaner on the street or is that also a common misconception?

From what I have seen, depending on the sac volume, a blind-hole nozzle can be as efficient, if not more efficient in a street application as a VCO nozzle. Point being, there is no advantage to using a VCO nozzle.

Ok...I have a set of 5x14's by JL. They are good injectors, but I feel that I could use just a tad bit more fuel. In your opinion, would it be wirth it to dual feed these? Or should I go ahead and move up?

If I feel it is fruitless to dual feed a 5x0.018", why would I suggest dual feeding a 5x0.014", especially once you take into account the cost?
