I there any gain in a daul intake. Other than it looks cool. I was looking at the one from Crazy Carls. It looked to be spaced out further back than others. Does it really help with #5 and #6 or is it just hipe.

From what teddybear said if I had the time and or money to buy or build one I would, and since I read it on the interweb it has to be true. :D

I noticed a difference with my twin ram. I wouldn't spend the 650 they are now to buy but for what I got it for I couldn't pass it up.

I think if was only 5 hp gain. I think i would still buy one. I just think they look cool.

I think they look good. Painted mine black. I honestly found mine in a barn. Had to only buy hardware to make it work. With grid heaters and all $50.

His kit will cost you $425 just for the intake horn and the adapter plate...

I plan to build one someday. Hey Josh did that one Eric started building ever work out?

I dont think he ever finished it completely. I think it needs to be machined flat on the bottom and thats about all thats left. He may try it on his truck some day.

I bought a 180* 3" pipe off ebay a year or so ago to build my own intake for my former 99, I figure I'll just build one for the 97 now. LOL I hope to build my own "dual ram" someday too...

Thats what i was thinking. Can't hurt any. If all else fails it looks cool.
