I know I am putting dual wheels on the back of my 2500 that is in the avatar but I need to know how big of a spacer to put in between the drum and the inner wheel and in between the wheels? I am guessing 2" spacers for both but was hoping someone has done this. Oh, I am running 315-75-16 tires. Thanks for the info.

The 1.5 inch spacers would not fit on my truck without cutting about 1/2 in off the end of the wheels studs. Since they are only 1 and 1/2 inches wide the studs would protrude past the spacer, so unless you trimmed them the outside would not mount up flush. Go ahead and get the 2 inch ones.

EDIT: Never mind, I thought you were talking about spacers in between the dual wheels.

Thanks for that info because I am putting spacers in between the wheels too but since it is a D70 I got to put one against the drum to fit the first wheel on.

that sounds all sorts of unsafe

How is it unsafe? Even with the spacer the inner wheels is still sittng on the hub. The outer might not but I doubt it would anyway if it was on a D80 with a spacer in between the wheels.
