Hey guys, just wondering what size tires you guys are running on your dually's. A guy I know just bought a 5 inch lift for his 01 3500 and wants to know what to do for tires and rear spacers.

Thanks guys. :thankyou2:

I know there are guys on here running 35's/315's in the back with 2" spacers, but they are going to wear the middle out before the whole tire is done on 6-6.5" wide oem rims.

Wouldn't go over a 12.5 wide tire on the factory 6" rims. The taller the tire and the smaller the rim diameter, the less the tires will buckle in the middle, but either way they will still buckle.

Says the guy who had 6 315 bfg at/ko's on his daily driver/puller when it sold. :poke: LOL

lol yep. I wasn't worried about tire wear as much as some people lol. I noticed that the 285's with the 17" rims buckled more than the 285s on 16" rims that I used off lynn's puller. When I switched to the 315's on my 17" rims, they too was not buckled as bad as the first set of 285s

Thanks guys,

Forgot to mention that he has 17" rims off a newer Dodge or something like that. So Kino Fab you had 315's on your 17's? How much of a spacer?

I run kelly safari tsr 315 got a 2" spacer and can't slide a peace of paper between the to with 16 inch wheels. I need a 3 inch to be comfortable, tire guy said kellys run a little wider than most 12.5 tires

I ran 285's on my truck when it was a dually, with a 2" spacer between them. I was pretty happy with the setup.
