was sitting in dead stop traffic for @ 1.5 hours when the truck died. would not start. fuel pump was working.no codes, sat for about half hour then fired up. 10 min later it happen again. noticed the temp gauge was @220 and my out side temp said 92 when it was prob 50's. let it sit till the temp got to 190 and it fired up. drove it home no probs. temp was fine
is their any sensor that shuts the ecu down for over temp?
i say its a dumb question because i work on these thing every day and never seen this issue:bang
