DuraMax Muffler removal

Does this make a difference as far as power of a D-max?? Do you really lose any back pressure? If so do these trucks need it?

It breaths better with big HP tunes ; However some of the flow through muffler designs are good too. As for sound its not that bad till you get into it, then its a crackle type sound. Most LB7 can handle it .The LLy like to throw codes when strait piped. It can be worked around but it is tricky.
