ok my buddy just put a cummins in his 05 LLY duramax kodiak. we are having all kinds of issues. if anyone thinks they might have some answers or has had some experience with this please PM me . thanks
 
well my buddy finally broke down and sent the truck to beans. its hard to do all the electrical stuff without the right software. but i do have some pics i will try and post
 
Why didn't ya use the I-6 Zuzu and just hook it up???? EFI the dang thing a be done with it? ....just wonder'n
 
EFI Live doesn't support the ECM on the 7.8l Izuzu engines that GM uses in the larger Kodiak's

Dont know why they yanked the dmax though?
 
well the dmax only had 35000 miles on it with just an edge juice with attitude and the engine dropped 2 injectors and cracked the #1 piston. GM refused to warranty it because of the edge and he basically told them to shove it after that. he got a good deal on a 24 valve and the rest was history
 
Well, at least ya got go'n to a good shop. I'm sure Beans will hammer it out.
