Early in the season I ran a 2.6 charger with full cuts and it was just pouring the coal, so I stepped down to 191's and it seemed to help but cutting back the fuel some. Then not long after that I went to some bigger injectors and a 2.8 charger and it really woke up, but a few times I snuffed the charger.

Would going back to the full cuts hurt me more than help with the extra fuel...I dunno if the added fuel will help keep the rpms up or snuff me out quick from too much fuel.

What were your egt differences? Give em a shot and try different timing along with it. Never know how close you are to staying on top of it or how far. Just gonna have to try many different set ups to know.

i kno will be pending some time ont he dyno this winter and will run both DV's and if I can try some different timing settings

i am wondering the same thing. will my full cuts be to much for the s465? will i snuff it out with all the fuel? would i be better stepping down to .022 or 191's?

I would bet that the full cuts will be too much for a stock s465. I would step down... full cuts are alot of fuel, even for a small s400

its an s465 with a 1.0 housing t4 housing. would .022" do me better or maybe 191's?

Depends on the injectors that they are running. If you run full cuts you will need to run a smaller injector. If you run say 181 you can get away with running a larger injector before over fueling the engine and putting out the fire

Might be worth trying 022s or 024s if you think the full cuts will be too much with your larger injectors.
