I think my FP gauge is dying. Sometimes it will work fine, and sometimes i will move back and forth really fast, usually between about 1 lb of FP. It is a Dipricol gauge, and I have no idea how old it is. I'm just wanting to make sure that i have a good gauge because VP's aren't cheap :kick:.

Thanks

If the gauge is close to the VP it will get beat to death unless you have a snubber valve in front of it. The VP pulses and kills the gauge if its right there.

X2 Is that Diprocol Electric or mechanical? I killed the sender on my Autometer within a month because I didn't have a snubber. I though a 24" hose would be good enough. WRONG!

If it has an electronic sender get a snubber. If its a mechanical get an isolater. Isolaters are a good idea anyways because you don't have to worry about fuel leaking into the cab.

It's a mechanical gauge. I have no Idea if it has a snubber valve or an isolator or whatever, but I know it's in the line right around the firewall.
