Here is my 1st gen demolishing the driveshaft, tranny, and rear end yoke on its last run on Dunbars dyno @513hp.
No one was hurt, luckily my truck has ujoint shields that helped out.

Weird thing was that another 1st gen built just like mine done the same thing that day @ 366hp before his shaft let go. Both drive shafts broke in the same place.
I am guessing the weak link is the first gen shafts.

Definately glad no one got hurt. It was funny to see the shaft come off the truck and hit the ground before anyone turned their head. Probably just a camera trick but still.

This is why I stand at 45 degree angles to anything on the dyno. I have always feared a shaft coming out of a truck on an elevated dyno getting everybody on the sides.

Holy Hannah! I wonder how many people in the crowd had to use the Portal Jon after that one!

I was one of them, its gonna cost about $3000 for that dyno run:nail:!

Yeah the main thing was no one was hurt! It will have loops for next season, which i don't know how much they might would have helped. Someone said it was going 100mph when it came apart. I learned to dyno after you pull your truck that day. It is bad to break your truck on a dyno run instead of pulling.
