Planned for june 13th,gates open at 11am,start time 12pm. First come,first serve. $70 for up to 3 consecutive runs. There will be a purse for top gas hp & top diesel hp.Purse will be decided later,still trying to get sponsors.More details will come later as they get ironed out. There will also be a 2.6 street diesel class.

8000 lb Mountain State Pullers - Welcome


1. All trucks competing in this class must:

A. Be stock in appearance - floor in bed must be stock.

B. Be powered by a diesel engine - diesel fuel only.

C. Have state registration identification for highway use.

D. Be licensed for highway use in that state.

F. The registration identification and license plate must match.

G. Have a wheelbase as manufactured - no alterations to wheelbase.

2. No studded tires, tire chains, or any tires not specifically intended for street use are permitted. Tires must carry a dot number on the sidewall. No cut or grooving allowed. Maximum tire size is 12.5 x 36 or equivalent metric size. Tire size must be molded on the tire.
3. Weights are permitted only in the bed of the vehicle. Weights must be secured to prevent sliding around in the bed. No weight bars allowed. Bumpers must not have weight added to them. If a tubular bumper is used is must be open on each end to inspect for extra weight. No weight in any form to be added to front end.
4. Diesel engine must have been originally intended for a pickup truck use. Single turbocharger only permitted. No nitrous, propane, or water injection allowed. Programmers and chips are allowed.
5. Turbochargers must be in original location and must be an O.E.M. style turbo. for the engine. Turbo size is limited to 2.6 inches. Plugs allowed. Air to turbo can not be drawn from anywhere else. Only one OEM appearing injecton pump allowed.
6. The vehicle and vehicle drive line being used (including the front and rear axles, clutch, transmission, and driveshaft) must have been originally produced for diesel engine truck use. No dual rear wheels are allowed. Outside wheels may be removed to pull.
7. The vehicle must have a working suspension, front and rear. No blocked (solid) suspensions allowed. Stops allowed but there must be at least 1.5 inches between rear end and stop. Must have stock frame for make and model of vehicle.
8. Driveshaft loops are required if truck is lifted more than 2 inches on either front or rear.
9. Exhaust may be other than factory. Stacks are allowed. Engine and radiator must be in the original location, as produced by the manufacturer. All engine fans must be shrouded.
10. The hitch point to be a maximum of 20 inches from the ground. The hitch point must be stationary in all directions. A clevis or reese type hitch with a three inch hole is required - no pulling from the bumper.The hook point must be the furthest point to the back of the truck.
11. Snow plow mounting bracket(s) are allowed - no plow blades.
12. All body parts must remain inside the cab of the truck when competing.
13. Truck may be driven or trailered to track.
14. Helmets are required. Seat belts must be used.
15. Any truck with any size lift must have loops & u-joint covers front & rear. Loops must be 3/16 inch steel or 1/4 inch alum. and at least 4 inches wide. This includes body lifts, suspension lifts, after market springs, spacer blocks, and any other kind of lift. The front leveler block which can be mounted on top of front coil springs is permitted. This leveler, if used, must be a manufactured block at least the width of the spring. Spacers between springs are not permitted. Truck can pull in any of the classes pulling on any given night if qualified. Only 1 pull per night.
 
As for the dyno, "Mid Atlantic Diesel" has there open house/dyno event slated for that same day, I hope it doesnt hurt your dyno turnout.
