Just leave it off and paint the firewall...that was my solution.
With the Dynamat Extreme I have inside I can't tell that it's any louder than before at all.
Ya ^^ if you just want heat shield that silver stuff with air bubbles in between is what all the street rod guys use...we use it in our RVs if they order the up-grade insulation pkg.
