easiest way to find TDC on a CR

i am going to adj my valves soon and was wondering if there is a good way to find tdc i know about watching the valves or i can take an injector out but is there a pin like on a 12 valve or a mark anywhere i know its a dumb ? but just wondering before i do it

there's a top dead center mark on the balancer. I always use that as my point. Just bring it up to 12 o'clock

i saw the mark but didnt see anywhere it referenced to 12 o clock makes since though thanks
