Hey All,
I just put in my Edge Comp the other day with a Stealth Cover. Right when I started the truck the check engine light came on. The only code that came up was the P1693, which I know is a companion code, so I had my buddy check with the Solus. Don't remeber the exact numbers but I think they said something like P0237 MAP Sensor voltage low, and P???? TPS Voltage low, or something along those lines. I had the TPS dissconnected when I was installing the Stealth Cover so I dont know if that would have triggered that. and the MAP sensor I dont know, I checkd my connectons and everyhting.
We cleared the codes, and they havent come back yet.
Whats the deal?
 
They wont be back. This is pretty common. Could it be you turned the key on while those sensors were unplugged? Also I think the instructions state that the Edges ground wire should be hooked up before connecting it to sensors.
No big deal, clearing the codes was all that needed done.
 
Yes, the sensors were unplugged, and I turned the key "on" to check for a good connection with the Stealth Cover. And I'm pretty sure the ground was one of the last things I did before connecting the bateries and actually connecting the harness to the Comp box. Thanks for the help Snedge!
