Yea i have a edge drag comp and i was wondering if i could stack it with a edge ez for some more fuel bc i have a new turbo on it and it could use a lil more fuel...JW and thanks ahead of time.

What about injectors? I don't see them in your sig.?
 
i have 110 on right now i just thougt it would be ez to hook the edge ez up for this weekends pull in ky
 
Level 2 or 3 on the comp is the ez. You will gain nothing with the stack
 
The comp on the lower levels is like the edge ez, so I'm not sure you would gain much if anything. If any of your buddies have a smarty, have them flash your computer - that makes a good stack with a comp.
 
yea there is no one around here that has one i wish i did if i can find one what setting should i run ? (smarty)
 
The Smarty is probably the best stack in your situation.

As mentioned before, there is no benefit to adding an EZ.

Use the Smarty with NO ADDED TIMING and you should be in good shape.
 
The Smarty and EZ are roughly the same HP rating, so why would the Smarty be so much better if it's only the same HP as the EZ??

Great question.

Its not really the "what," but the "how" that changes.

The EZ uses an interuption between the ECM and MAP. Basically, the EZ fools the ECM into thinking that the MAP is reading X, when it is really reading "Y." The Comp does the exact same thing, on all levels.

The Smarty works by completely re-programing the ECM. So the process changes are happening inside the ECM, instead of it going out and looking for different signals.

That is why the Smarty and the Comp will stack, where the EZ and the Comp are doing exactly the same thing.
 
Comp adds about as much fuel as you can from the VP. Is it a drag comp? If not get the drag (HOT) upgrade, that'll help!

Otherwise, bigger sticks, more air...
 
I think I'd go with some bigger sticks. With the Drag Comp you have all the electronics you need. I run the Smarty for DD and for some timing with the TST. Drag Comp has all the timing yopu need.

What settings do you run. i put one to it the other night and i could not really tell any change but my gas peddle (fuel) was real touchy
 
We just tried it on 9 just to show how responsive it is. id be glad to let ya play around with the smarty anytime. i just wish we would have met earlier so you could play around with it more.
