I have been looking for a while now for a edge comp box for my 99. Now i have herd talk about that it can ruin MAP sensors because you need to run an adopter. Is this true? Is there any difference if it is an Edge Drag Comp? Has anyone had any problems with this or herd anything about this? Any information is greatly appreciated. :thankyou2:

edge is against this, but I ran a 98.5-2000 box on my 01' for years with no problems
 
The plugs are different for the 98.5'-00' maps sensors, but more important is the voltages are different also. Issues can be had when some one creates a adapter, but doesn't send the box back to edge to change the map voltage range. Call Edge but I think its about $75 for them to change the box and plug.
 
Thanks a lot for the information. I have been looking for an edge for so long and when ever I find someone wanting to sell one its for an 01. Ill call edge and see what they say

Haven't had the time to call edge but a few people pm'd me and said just send it to edge to get the voltage changed

can anyone actually confirm the voltages are different? I ran one for about 3yrs for a 98.5-00' on a late 01' HO truck.... I never had any problems and I hooked the correct box up off my buddies truck and it was no different....
