Edge Drag/Smarty Revo stack ?'s

got the hot edge drag stacked with my smarty revo. level 8 with all the ajust options on high level but the timing. been running it on 1 (stock) and edge on 5 when extra power is need. got to thinking....will it hurt to run on level 2 timing on the ajust options? will level 3 or 4 hurt? how much timing does it actually add? i ran it down the road one time with timing on level 2, smarty on 8 and edge on 5 and it seem'd like the PRYO was lower and it had just a touch more power. am i gonna hurt anything in the long run? anybody else tried this.

have hotrod vp, batmowheel turbo in my hx35 with hx40 compressor housing,arp studs, bd manifold, and the regular upgrades needed. can make 33psi with just smarty,hit 40psi with edge on.

I've ran timing on both, but others frown upon it.... I say if it's not rattling like its about to come apart, and it runs good...... drive it like you stole it...

I only turn edge on to blow smoke or if I need the extra power. Smarty does goodby itself.

I have the edge comp drag version and a smarty when they first come out so i didn't have all the tuning things you can now. I had the smarty set on a level with timing and turned the edge on and was playing around some. It ran like he!! but cost me a headgasket in short order. The head was fireringed and studded after that and I never tried it again.

it seems to be running ok. i dont run edge all the time. just for passing power.
