Just from experience....
It maybe that the ez is just "highlighting" an existing problem....
It could be a number of things....

How many miles are on the truck?
What about the IP?
Or since your truck is a 6spd (if what truck your talkin about is the same as your sig...)
Tryin clean the map sens.

mine does it with box or no box. I just drive it and not lug it bad! Every 24v ive been around bucks and surges like that if you lug it at almost idle!

I've researched it more and now agree with you. Its just the nature of the beast.

It goes away when you put a DD clutch in, at least mine did, must be just a little heavier so it won't do it.

Thats strange. I run an edge as well, and a TST but not always on at the same time, and mine has yet to do that bucking at low RPM since I put my DD in. If you drag the brakes it will just stall itself.

Mine does it with a Juice, but I normally run on level 2, which to my knowledge is basically 40 hp (or EZ). Common problem....however, it does amplify the existing problem. Mine does it less without the box....but worse with it. The only time it bucks is under load at cold temps...ie. AIT reading 100F or below and outside less than 70F.

I have heard tails of curing this by putting a poteniometer on the AIT sensor and tricking he ECM as far as intake temp goes...but I haven't done it yet. Makes pulling a trailer in the cold a beotch.

Mine has done it for 5 years now with the comp. It usually eats 1 TPS a year but thats why I bought one with a lifetime warrenty. You will get use to it and wont hardly notice it after a while.
