edje hot unlock codes

My buddy has a 99 24 valve and we are trying to find the hot unlock codes for his edje. Is each one different for each vehicle or will the same unlock code someone else has for the same engine work for ours?
 
I'm not sure I understand the question. The Edge Comp is transferrable from truck to truck, but you ma y have to get a diffrent adapter depending on the model. As far as unlocking a "hot" option, there is no such thing. The box can be sent back to edge for a drag upgrade, that will fuel up to the 3200 RPM redline.
 
i think hes talking about the juice unlock code for level 6 , if u have that code it will work if u dont have the code then it cost 100$ extra
 
I think we are talking about different units. Im talking about the juice with attituide and you can unlock the hot code with the serial number off the back and edge technicians will give you a hot code as a 6th option.
 
yeah thats what im saying u have to buy that option 100$

I think what he is asking is if someone paid the $100 to get the code, could that person give the code to another person to use on another box

Nope...

Edge generates the "HOT" codes based on a serial number that is stored in the Attitude display. It just like an activation code for any other software program.

Call your local dealer, they will have you sign a waiver (required by Edge) and sell you the code.
 
I guesss my next question is what success are you dodge guys having with stacking the edge attituide juice. and what do you reccomend stacking it with. also I have a stupid question,. what is the drag comp box and how does it work etc thanks
 
the juice does both timing and fuel so yr not going to get much if any by stacking it with any thing, the drag is like the juice some say its better some dont , i had a hot juice stack with a Redline and a smarty , kinda like to many irons in the fire it didnt work well . the juice by itself is yr best bet

I think that the dealer upgrade option is no longer available.... I was told a few weeks back that the customer must now "Unlock" directly through Edge Products.

Can any other dealers confirm this ?
 
Yeah u have to have edge do it sence MSD bought them they changed things a little
 
It will be faster if you hae access to a fax machine. They will fax you the waiver and then the code after you sign it and send it back.
