We are having problems with our 12V puller. We have 435's, Lazered Dv's, BD Super B, 4k springs, 0 plate and running 20* of time. I realzie we have to much fuel for the charger at the current time, but are looking to upgrade soon. We however feel we are not putting out the fire, as we see plenty of boost.
Our problem is, it seems as if we can run no rpms down the track. If we pull in 3rd-low it seems as if we get on top of everything and no wheel speed. When we go to 2nd-hi it sounds like we have are constantly struggling and the rpms never come up. If we ditched the 4ks for 5 k's whould this help? Do we need more timing? Whats up with this? Soon we will be going to a S465 but with the truck doing like it is now, I am afraid that we will not be able to stay on top of it. Any help is appreciated.
