EFI live?

Can u do efi live on a vp? Had a buddy tell me that someone he knew did a 01. I didnt think u could do it on the vp's but he thought u could.
 
That doesnt sound right at all only efi live tunable trucks are duramaxs and i think 06 and later cummins. That i know of...

I told him i didnt believe it but thats what he was saying. He said the the guy that did efi live was working on a 01. I told him he was downloading a tune from the adrenaline. But he keep saying it was efi live. I didnt think it was.
 
I thought it was for 06 and up common rail on dodges, dont know much about efi live but the guy he was talking about does alot of cars. I dont know if he does diesel performance. Why wont efi live work on older 24 valves anyways?
 
They have not yet extended support to the older trucks yet, the first to get it were the CAN BUS models. Next up are the 06 to 03 models. By the time that makes it out, the VP trucks will still be sucking hind tit.
 
We currently support the 2006-2009 5.9L and 6.7L trucks.

We have plans to support 2003-current for Cummins. We won't be supporting earlier trucks.

Our supported vehicles list includes many GM Gasser vehicles, Duramax diesels and now the Cummins.

Perhaps the person has done a conversion? If not he's telling BS.

It'd be kinda hard to get efi live with the partial authority vp injection system?
