At IRP this weekend Darren Smith took the street class with the VP truck and I want to know what you guys think. Darren has been in this for a while but the truck's engine setup is fairly new, especially with the pump since he's running a true stage 3 for the first time this past weekend. It cleaned up pretty well going down the track but I don't know if it was so much the engine as the setup. Stacey, Nathan and Dave all said the track was rough on saturday but not so much on sunday. Darren's truck has an awesome drivetrain setup which lead me to believe that the suspension was what was helping him since he still didn't have as much fuel as the P-pumped guys. I was wondering from some of the other guys that might have pulled what you guys thought of the track. A couple trucks couldn't get their turbos lit very well because they said the track was tough, that and a few had to much fuel and water to get it lit at the track, as Nathan and Seth helped a few guys setups out after saturdays session. I was just wondering what some of your guy's input was on it since I didn't expect a VP truck to take the street class at IRP even though the pumps is good. No challeneges or anything like that, just how you guys think the track was as it would help me figure a few more things out.
