Engine shuts off when lights are turned on

I have a buddy w/ a 99 cummins and everytime he turns the lights on the engines just shuts off like you turned the ignition switch off. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this.

If it's got remote entry, it could be the remote door lock module (since the lights flash and it goes into anti-theft when locked).

Same thing happened to mine, It ended up being my HID's. Just something to keep in mind.
