engine swap ?s

I found a low mile 98.5 24v 2wd manual thats pretty beat up and was looking at swapping just the engine into my 99 4wd auto with a cracked 53. What all would I run into doing this? The blocks are the same. Correct? Just unplug the ecms pull both motors and swap the trans adapters? and then just run all my coolant lines for the auto. All the right ports are in the block it appears. Id just have to swap the fitting etc. Just trying to get a heads up on this before I dive into it. Thanks in advance.

besides the ecm and any electronic sensors everything is the same maybe the power rating would be different but you would be using your ecm anyways in that case

Im fairly sure they're identical, the 01 and 02 used a cam sensor and different map sensor but the 98.5-2000 were the same. All the so motors were 235hp
