Exhaust Brake with H&S turbo kit 2012

Friend bought a 2012 3500 dually with 6.7 with H&S tuner also has a non VGT turbo guessing H&S turbo kit. He is wanting to install an exhaust brake. What do you recommend for this application? Thanks for the insight.
 
Was potentially looking at the BD exhaust brake kit or the pacbrake? Feedback or real world experience on either??
 
I had a 12valve 5speed that had the pacbrake on it when I bought it for a short time, it worked OK I guess but is not nearly as effective as the factory brake on the newer trucks. Or my 08 6speed anyway, for whatever thats worth. If a brake is most important to him I would detune the truck a bit and go back to a stock turbo.
 
I looked into the pacbrake and it states needs the stock turbo to work properly.
 
We have seen pretty good results with the PacBrake application.....
 
I used a BD kit the other day it was great .It uses the factory switch. After install it works just like stock. Very happy with it.
