Exhaust system... exit location...?

I was wondering which aftermarket exhaust company make a system that has the exhaust exiting in the same location as stock...?

Most of the system's I see have the tip pointing straight out from the rear passenger tire. These exhaust look great but if you're rolling coal each time your in OD then you constantly have the fender and rear bumper full of soot.

I'm looking for a 5" system that has the same exit as the stock exhaust, which would be slightly pointing downward to the ground at an angle.

Thanks

My diamond eye exhaust exits pretty close to stock. But even though it's pointing down some it still gets the back corner of my bumper black. Just kind of the nature of the beast when you smoke a lot.

Haven't seen a kit that does what you say since that was stock on my truck and I wanted to go that route.

Diamond Eye is fairly close to that though.

I didn't want the 45* angle deal like the GMs have.

Thanks, it looks like I might end up doing a custom exhaust with a local shop. There asking $425 for a 4" w/muffler (aluminum), I'll call tomorrow and ask for a quote on a 5" system.

Diamond Eye is well under $425. I paid around $250 for my setup. No muffler, but I got a nice stainless tip for that price.

I just looked at a video on youtube of the diamond eye kit installed and it doesn't seem to be even close to the stock exhaust location. At 6:52 you can see how the tips looks, is this how your system looks? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2gyPHPb_O0

Just finish looking at the bully dog kits and there described as "single exit (stock location)" Does anyone have a pic or a link of an installed bully dog kit..? Thanks

You can adjust it to point up, down, etc if you'd want. There's a bit of freedom when installing it.

Not sure on the video, You Tube is blocked.

Gimme a sec and I'll get some pics of mine. After I looked I noticed mine wasn't turned down at all but when I looked under the bed there is plenty of room to twist the over the axle pipe and have it pointed down.

I know you were reffering to their tip but when I checked out there website, I noticed it said there exhaust system exits at the stock location.

I wanted to ask what size exhaust would work best on my application? 4" or 5" ?Definitely want a muffler..... I'll be running Mach 6's, drag comp and a Silver Bullet. I figure with this setup I'de better go with 5" for lower EGT's...?

Thanks again.

i got mine off ebay.....i dont know what brand it was around 250 with no muffler.

dont have any good picts i have it pointed down like the stock tail pipe was to keep the soot off.....
it smokes ALOT more than that and you can see there is not much soot on bumper
