Correct they are the 03-04 spray pattern so you can use them on either older or newer piston bowl design. So will fit 03+ 5.9L

Any idea what size exergy injectors these would be comparable to?

If I had to give an estimate off what his older flux nozzles flowed then these would be around the 160% area. A buddy with a set of Apex's but smaller in size made 1000rwhp on a single 75mm and 2600uS tune. So the fuel is there and they run clean!
