Picked up a clean 01 F350 at an auction over the weekend. The price was too good to pass up.

Gonna make it a RCSB and throw a 12V/47RH in it. I've had the 12V sitting in the shed for a few years now, waiting to be put to use, and a buddy donated a 2wd 47RH to the cause.

Hope to get it gutted this weekend, and out to a buddy's fab/paint shop in NY in the next few weeks for frame shortening and paint.

I will post pics as progress continues. The plan is to try and keep it relatively "low buck" LOL

Got the truck pretty well stripped down over the weekend.

I'm hoping to get the motor mounts next week and get the 12V slipped in for mockup purposes, then its headed to NY to get the frame shortened, suspension lowered and beginning the prep work for paint.

Clean Lookin '01 7.3l.. keep us posted on the progress

Got the truck out to my buddies shop in NY on Tuesday night. The frame has been shortened to accept a short bed. We fishplated the inside and outside of the frame, and decided to box the frame as well in that area.

I took 7 leaves out of the rear spring packs to lower the rear end down and soften up the ride.

Traction bar mounts and motor mounts are being made this weekend, and body work should start next week.

Pics to follow...
