My fan clutch is seized which makes sense why it was taking forever for my truck to warm up this winter.

Instead of buying a new one for 300 bucks I have been looking into going with a electric fan. I Google it and it has been discussed alot on various forums but j want to make sure I do it right. I found a mark viii on ebay for a little over 100 and I can get a controller for 30.

Anybody running this set up? I won't be towing anything heavy with this truck.

My alternator is sounding ruff too so I'm going to replace it with a higher output unit anyway. Thanks

I won't put electric fan on a truck that tows.

Get new one for less than $100 and forget it.

I bought mine new from Advance Auto Parts for roughly $65 and its a HD version, so it say and it's made in USA.
